OUR STORY SO FAR
A brief overview...
St Mary Magdalene with the church of the Risen Christ has a rich history of worshipping God, making disciples, being a family, and helping to serve and transform the community. With faithful leaders and members of the church over the years, it has sought to live out the love and actions of Jesus.
Today is no different.
In 2021, in partnership with the Diocese, we have partnered with St Mark’s Coventry to enable the church’s continued flourishing. It is our hope and prayer that with this strong foundation that has been built over the years, along with our partnership with St Mark’s, that we can continue to make Jesus known in Wyken!
Our sister church, Holy Cross, in Caludon Parish
Worship at Holy Cross is 'moderate catholic' with incense used at major festivals. The 9.30 service is mainly Eucharistic and there are also weekly Monday meditations, as well as a weekly parent & toddler group called 'Chattertots' on Wednesday mornings. Holy Cross is ministered by Revd. Liz Harris with oversight from Revd. Paul Pavlou & Revd. Phil Atkinson.
