Our missional apprenticeships are an opportunity to further explore different areas of ministry life within the church. Alongside your role at Risen Christ, you will attend St Marks' Academy for both theological and formational training. 

We are currently recruiting two missional apprentice roles. See below for further details.

Worship - we are looking for someone who is wanting to gain experience while developing their passion, heart and gifting for worship ministry.

Risen Christ has two main services on a Sunday. Our 9.30am is a more traditional service and our 11am service has a more contemporary style. The ability to lead across both styles of worship is an essential feature of the role, and we would be looking for someone who can demonstrate these skills. 

We do not have a full-time worship lead at this current time, so you will need to be motivated and show good levels of autonomy. You will be offered regular mentor support through the worship team at our resource church St Mark’s Coventry and will be receive support from a full-time member of the staff team throughout the week.

Youth - we are looking to recruit someone who is passionate about young people and enabling them to develop their identity in Christ. We are currently developing our youth work with the introduction of youth alpha and have plans to launch a regular drop in youth café. We have been developing relationships with a number of the local primary and secondary schools and there will be plenty of opportunity to work across a varying range of ages from year 6 upwards.

You will be supported by our youth pastor who will help you develop your passion and heart for youth work.
